Yes, it is that time of year again where little ones run around like chickens with their heads cut off in search of plastic eggs in parks. We certainly would not miss the opportunity to join in and act like fools and get something for free, especially when the Easter Egg Hunt is right down from our house.
On Saturday Daniel and I went to our town's Easter Egg Hunt. Though they did not have Easter eggs, they did place candy on top of the sand and let the kids run wild. I do have to say that they did a great job and broke the "hunt" up by age groups so it wasn't that bad.

Yes, it was a bit chilly for an Easter Egg Hunt.
Daniel missed out on grabbing one of the four plastic Easter eggs that they placed in the sand by a second as you can see.....
The "Hunt" was held at our local lake, thus the sandy beach.
He ran and grabbed and had a great time as you can see....
His "Hunt finds"
He even went and took one chocolate egg out of the Easter Bunny's basket and stood for a picture.....
And since one "bunny sighting" is never enough (and we all know how bunnies are) we went to a "Meet the Bunny" event in our old town in the afternoon. Like last year Daniel went right up to the bunny and sat on her lap.
And yes, as Daniel pointed out to me, the first bunny we saw was a "boy bunny" since he had a vest on and the second one was a "girl bunny" since she carried a carrot. (I know....)
All and all a good day was had. Happy Easter!!
