Now That's An Efficient Use of Time...

Daniel Goes to His First Jimmy Buffett Concert.....

Well sorta. We actually just attended the tailgate pre-party at Jones Beach but never made it into the concert since we did not have tickets. And since we did not have headphones for Daniel, I did not think it was a good idea to "locate" tickets in the parking lot. However Daniel did a fabulous job and we had a good time seeing some good friends.

Daniel, of course, made some new friends as everyone was commenting on his hair and taking his picture. He even met Peter Mayer - one of Jimmy Buffett's band members and a guy from Radio Margaritaville, who even took his photo. Where that photo ends up, we have no idea.

Mr. Daniel Goes to His First Yankee Game!

This afternoon we were fortunate enought to take Daniel to his first Yankee game. They were playing the Kansas City Royals so we thought it was just the perfect day to create this memory of Daniel. They are closing the current Yankee Stadium and building a new one right next to the old one. So one day Daniel will be able to say he saw a game in the old Yankee Stadium as well as the new one.

Boy did we have the perfect day! The weather was fabulous as well as our seats. The Yankees won in 13 innings and Daniel did great. He made it to the 8th inning without being cranky and slept on the way in and out of the stadium. We could not have asked for a better day. Here are a few photos from this afternoon....

To The Ocean We Go.....

This weekend we were fortunate enough to visit friends in CT which gave us the opportunity to take Daniel to the ocean. Well, it really was the Long Island Sound but it had waves all the same.

As you can see, Daniel couldn't wait to get to the water.....

And he seemed to enjoy the water once we got in...

We even got out first "beach" photo as a family.....(Seriously I did not plan the outfits. It was just a happy accident that we all matched.)
